Mucking in the swamp

Here's some pictures from today's travels.  My favorite place to walk down by the lake has been forested this spring, sadly enough.  To give them some credit it was sustainable foresting, not clear cutting.  The aftermath is fresh though, it will look better when life starts growing in around the stumps.  Funny I almost said 'when they go in and clean everything up.'  How aesthetic of me.

 Here's some awesome textured bark.

Working up a new website

Hopefully I will have something posted by next week which will focus on my artwork at www.bethapage.com.  I am very excited to have this back up and running after a bit of a sabbatical.  I will still use this blog to post more about my real life with more of a laid back flair to it.  Off now to avoid homework and go hiking in a boggy swamp with 99% chance of precipitation.  Perfect!

Time is Amorphous

New painting for today...

Working titles for this piece are "You There, You Are Here," or "Time."  Maybe a long one like "It's Hard to Pinpoint Your Place When You're In It."

How about something easy, "Distance and Perspective."
