Blox
Made some mini paintings on a set of blocks I had lying around last night. I think they came out pretty great and wanted to share. Not sure what to do with them, now that they're painted, but hey, the process was very fun!
This is the front and back of the first block, called UnSure. Wasn't quite sure what I was up to.
This is all four sides of the smallest block, untitled. The blue shirt guy reminds me of the grundge era, though I really enjoy the bike repairer and the woman in love.

Art Trade!
Trading art with a wonderful artist, Fifi Abu Illustrations! I already received more than my fair share in the mail, but I just finished the one I'm trading back yesterday morning. Super excited about it, and if she's reading this she's getting a sneak preview :)

Self Portraits
I worked on small self portrait sketches today thinking that I would like to change my logo. After working on it for a few hours I have come to the conclusion I do not want a self portrait as my logo :) Despite that, I came up with some good sketches. So here they are. Obviously some look more like me than others. The process was fun, and good to get back into portraits.
Self portraits are the hardest to draw, not only for the fact that you see your face opposite how everyone else does, but also I can't look at my own face objectively. Regardless, it is a very good exercise for artists.

Life Updated!
Hi there folks! So I did get around to putting the last few illustrations I've done on my website here. Be sure to refresh the page if you have been there before!
I'm in the market for a larger group of collaborators/artists that I am in regular contact with. I'm not sure Concord NH is the best place for that to happen, so any comments or suggestions are welcome! Let's connect, people.
Thank you to you folks that check out this brain purging we call My Blog, I appreciate your interest and support.

First stages of a hand painting
I am trying to figure out best how to layer on top of this acrylic/pencil first layer, which has paper as the base. Something like this I wish I had an encaustic studio for. Maybe I'll finally be able to convert a camper into one this year! Either way, I like the colors so far.
