Sketchbook Project Done!

I'm super psyched, I mailed in my sketchbook today for The Sketchbook Project! Nothing like last minute. Here are 5 spreads that I'm pretty excited about and haven't yet shared. This project took a good bit of time, and was very fun. Glad to have finished it strong!

I've been wanting to experiment with spray paint in my work. I'm super excited how my first attempt came out in my sketchbook. It's looking good!

Bad Day Good Day

So excited!

I've been working on my entry for the 2017 Sketchbook Project off and on over the past few months. Grad school, work and emotions have been getting in the way, but I made some good progress on my sketchbook today that I'm happy about.

I made two self portraits; one of a bad day, one of a good day. Here they are as a spread. They don't particularly look like me, and it's been a while since I've done portraits, but I've always enjoyed painting them and I'm still pretty happy with what I did.

What a fun way to spend a few hours today!
